Life on the highway - Mel Afoa
My life has always been a mixed puzzle of a million pieces. Pieces of the good and bad things that I’ve faced, and will face anytime soon.
Life to everyone is a rollercoaster, one that goes up and down everyday. When you think of it, a rollercoaster goes up and down; so does life. You can have the best days of your life, when it’s your special birthday party, or when you’re getting married. But life always comes with bad days; maybe losing someone you love and cherish so much, or when you twist your ankle the day before an important dancing event. Either way, life is a rollercoaster.
I guess I’ve never really opened my eyes to see the real world. To me, life is a puzzle. It’s random, something you don’t think of at times. I sort of hate life. I know I’m not the only one. But, as my mother constantly reminded me when I was only a little girl, you have to appreciate life as it is. You can’t have a second chance at life, because you never know what will happen to you when you die. You have to be thankful for life, for so many innocent people have lost their precious lives for several reasons.
Not saying anything against God of course. I love him to eternity and beyond for giving me a chance to live life and experience the unknown. But like I said, my life’s a puzzle.
