True Allies - Mel Afoa

Dedicated to the one
who has remained true,
both within heart & soul,
this is for you.

They look at each other in silence, before glancing in opposite directions.

Sitting in front of the deputy principal's office was not good. Yet, there they were, crammed on the small, blue seat parked in the middle of the lower corrider. The wind was not dancing today, the atmosphere destroying all signs of peace and contentment. The sun was shining, but the roof prevented the sun from showing its comfort towards the girls.
Ronalda sat there sullen. She knew it was stupid to punch a fellow old friend in the face. She knew it was wrong. The girl sold stories about me, she thought to herself, she deserved that good black bruise on her face. She grinned at the memory. Slowly shaking her extensions out of the way, she looked around at the empty corridors. It was fourth period, and yet no sound escaped from the bottom school classes. There was no sound, no echo of the random girl screaming in the corridors. She turned to her left.
Beckhame sat there silently, pondering what to say to her parents if she were to be in trouble. Her body limp and thoughts buzzing, she looked towards the Principal's  door. It screamed punishment. She shuddered at the thought of being sent to another school. She would hate start all over again, and plus, she had lived in Wiley her entire life, and to move would be unacceptable. She shouldn't have done. She should never have beaten that girl up. It was wrong to cyberbully the girl and her friends. But hey, she thought, whoever talks about my family and friends go down. Yet she couldn't help but fear the consequences of her actions.
They sat there, pondering whilst the Principal looked for a verdict. He knew Ronalda and Beckhame from the top of his 'students' lists. Both girls were very bright students, that strived to the fullest when give the opportunity. However, when something was said about both girls, they always looked towards physical power for an answer. He shook his head slightly, fatigued from reading countless suspension notices piled on his desk. He stood to open the window, and at once the smell of fresh, baked cupcakes whizzed into the room. I must grab a bite, he muttered, before slowly turning his attention back to the two troublesomes behind his door.
Beckhame was furious after finding out she was in serious trouble. She didn't see why her and Ronalda were called to the Principals in the first place. Surely he should've called the girls that made them angry in the first place? Surely he should consider those who brought other people into it? Cursing softly, she started to entertain herself in the boring posters in the front of the corridor.
The wind was still shut from the school as Ronalda sat, eyes slowly losing focus and body already asleep. She didn't see why they of all people were called into the room. For goodness sake, she got taken out of Hospitality! No one comes between her and her food. Yet somehow, the Principal lured her in. Slowly her eyes started to close. She smirked to herself, as she replayed the memories of how she and Beckhame had caught the girls talking behind their backs. She had nearly gone and bashed the girls badly, yet her classmates had held her back. She was grateful that her and Beckhame were quite popular. After all, no one really wanted to mess with the troublemakers who ruled anarchy.
Suddenly, the Principal came out and called the girls in. They looked at each other, each thinking the same thing. Holding their pinkies out, the girls silently nodded and proceeded into the room. " True allies ", Beckhame muttered. " Partners in Crime to Eternity ", Ronalda replied, her brown eyes dancing with excitement and fear. " Lets do this", smirked Beckhame and the two turned into the room as the sound of the old bell ringed throughout the silent school.

More dedications to Debs soon (:
